Magic Flute

Really fantastic experience at Magic Flute. I wanted a nice, quiet dinner on the last evening of a business trip and got exactly that. Beautiful restaurant, warm and welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, extremely helpful and friendly service. Highly recommended. I'll be here again next time I'm in town!

Nice patio in the back. Great brunch food. You can make reservations easily on open table.

The owner does not know anything besides excellence. His mission is literally excellence. His burger is the best burger ever, no sauces needed. Just a bun, the meat and caramelized onions. Quality of meat is astounding.

Quaint Italian place with a small menu. My risotto was fabulous! My daughter's salmon was moist, a this crispy top and delicious! I wish they would marry the 2 dishes. Awesome!

Best breakfast I've had in a long time. Sat on the back patio, soft jazz and standards playing, fresh air and some of the best service I've received in many a year. Food was amazing. My son had the beignets and they were the real deal. Out of this world. I had the chicken hash and my wife had the chorizo scramble. Everything was perfect. Nice to know there are oases like this in this rapidly deteriorating city. What a neighborhood gem!

I think we may have found our weekly Sunday spot! We sat in their outside patio and had the most delicious coffee, brunch, wine and dessert. They actually let us enjoy our meal without rushing us out, which is really important to me. The host was friendly and so accommodating. Can't wait to come back! :)

Great food, but *beware* that each item is a la carte - including the mineral water on the table ($7 each). Unfortunately during my party's dinner the garlic bread and appetizers were presented as included, but were charged separately. The waitress asked after ordering our dishes, "what would you like to start with?" and "(which) would you like, soup or salad?" pushing us to order more. Otherwise, good service and warm, homey atmosphere.

Everything about this place politely screams San Francisco. We only had salads and glasses of wine, but I'd have gladly stayed through the afternoon to politely auto-intoxicate and try more of the menu.

This is one of the best breakfast spots in the city. The Beignets are AMAZING.It's also a great dinner spot as well. The pasta and wine is great. They have cute lights at night that hang in the outdoor seating area and it makes for a great ambiance.Great spot.

Service is stellar, had a lovely brunch, the quiche is quite good needs a dash of salt in my opinion but would definitely order it again. Do save room for the berries and cream. They make a very good home made whipped cream with a blend of marscopone and cinnamon that is delicious. Has a lovely court yard and is a neighborhood gem.

We came here on a cold and rainy night. The restaurant was nice and warm inside. The front room was full so we had to sit in the back.Our waitress was extremely nice and accommodating.They have a very simple menu.The garlic bread was light and fluffy and very garlicky.

Nice small place, has more outdoor space then in door. Love their spicy lamb burger.

Quaint, very friendly, small Italian restaurant in the Laurel Heights hood of SF. Family-run for almost 40 years. Food quality and service are both very good. If you're seeking a quality, quiet, no-atmospheric-frills kind of experience (think classic Italian paintings and murals on the walls), this could be your place.

Would surely recommend trying this spot. Great atmosphere, fresh food, great customer service. Keep up the good work.

Not my style. Food was pretty good but limited options. If you like Victorian tea parties, you'll love this place!

This place has amazing food! It is very nice, and I think it’s the best restaurant in San Francisco! I forgot a large amount of money there and when I went back they kept it safe.

Great atmosphere breakfast patio. There are some dishes that are priced high but then others that are very reasonable like their omelette. I really enjoyed their Lox bagel. It’s a great place to bring your significant other or a great place to catch up with an old friend. The waiters are very nice. It’s a family owned business and the owner will still shake hands with each customer as they are leaving.

Excellent food, great setting, waiter a bit snippy - thus only 4 stars.

We Had the pleasure to enjoy the Mothers Day brunch menu! The menu was limited however with a large party we were able to see many dishes, the service was very good but clearly the staff was busy, I'm also taking into consideration it was Mothers Day!The restaurant is quaint and cozy, a neighborhood feel, the pricing was fair. Only street parking so keep that in mind..The Owner was very accommodating!

I loved this place! The food was delicious and portions were plentiful. I ordered a pizza with caramelized onions, honey, arugula and prosciutto. My partner had a pork chop topped with a fog jam and crispy brussel sprouts; both were very good. They had a nice wine list, but only a few bottled beers. I'll definitely go back!

This place is sharp. Excellent service and fresh food. This time I sat in the dining room, but have dine in the back enclosed patio/garden. Great for small groups, too. Brunch is my favorite here.

Romantic , atmospheric, quaint, inviting and quiet. These attributes paired with a good selection of wines and really REALLY superb food makes this place worthy of ones dinning experiences.
